Spotlight on… Musical Memories
On our first instalment of ‘Spotlight on…’, we’re taking a look at Yorkshire-based, charitable organisation, ‘Musical Memories’.
Musical Memories (https://www.musicalmemoriescic.org.uk) is a not-for-profit organisation, providing fun singing and chat sessions for older people to combat loneliness and isolation and improve wellbeing. From March 2020, their services were moved online, and have since delivered 160 live-streamed sessions across multiple days of the week via Facebook and YouTube.
They have just written their usual Annual Report, which is always made public to evidence their impact to achieve funding: the main source of finance for the organisation.
Musical Memories is looking for a Unilancr Freelancr to help present this report in a creative and dynamic way, reflecting how they have managed to keep all of their participants connected, despite the challenging circumstances of the last year. The report is currently in a Word document and requires redesigning to make it more visually appealing. The job is perfect for someone with a creative flair and talent for graphic or visual design.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in not only graphic design but within a charitable organisation and can be easily applied for through the Unilancr platform! Signing up is quick and easy, and incredibly worthwhile to gain paid experience like this!
If this has inspired any other businesses to try out a Unilancr Freelancr, you can post a job easily through the ‘employer’ section of the Unilancr website, and you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to discuss anything in more detail!
